Welcome! Art is about the individual, and that is the focus in my classes. Each student is encouraged to embrace their own creativity utilizing skills learned in and outside of class. I am a kind, compassionate teacher who started painting in 2020. Three years later, I am a published artist with 392 completed works (and counting). I have Art Docent experience and have facilitated art instruction for class sizes of 2–32 students. Prior to becoming a full-time artist, I worked with students ages 5-17 in a teaching / advocacy hybrid role at a non-profit organization. My classes offer a safe, low-pressure environment to explore artistic skills. I believe my unique perspective and unbridled enthusiasm for art will be a great fit for beginner artists who are looking to learn the basics of acrylic painting and for intermediate students interested in taking their skills to the next level.
