My name is Luke Laurita. I just finished playing minor league baseball, and I am now the pitching coach at San Joaquin Memorial High school. I am looking to find some kids that are ready to take their playing to the next level.
I am almost fully available through the week and weekends. I specialize in Pitching, Hitting, Fielding, and catching.
I am also coaching a 10u travel baseball which is part of the Total Baseball Vipers organization. We provide the best coaching and facilities in the area. If interested let me know as well!

I have studied pitching mechanics for almost 10 years. I love the concept of mechanics at work. I will do my best to help improve your child's playing ability and overall understanding of the game.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Have a conversation prior to meeting for the first lesson. I would like to get to know you and where your child is at ability wise. Just a few questions to get an idea of where we could start. The first lessons goal is to get a good baseline to start from, film some throwing and or hitting mechanics videos, and a short mobility test.

Played college baseball at Cal State Dominguez Hills
Played minor league baseball the last 4 years
Trained at driveline, worked with some of the top pitching coaches in the country

How did you get started teaching?
The game ends for all of us as a player. I am transitioning into coaching from being a player. I am ready to give my passion for the game back to these kids.
