Brandon started giving lessons early in his college career during the offseason and as his career progressed to the professional level, his knowledge, experience, and clientele grew as well. After retiring from professional baseball in 2017, he took his love for teaching to Turnin 2 Professional Training Center in Corona, CA, where he joined as a full-time hitting and catching instructor and eventually took the position as Head Catching Coordinator. After building a training schedule that included 55+ lessons a week, Brandon founded Catching Coalition. This company gave Brandon the opportunity to reach even more players through camps and workshops, and also start to help coaches through an online training and certification program. Though he still gives his weekly catching and hitting lessons, Brandon has challenged himself to continue to reach as many kids as possible.

Teaching kids the right way to play the game and watching them develop confidence and purpose in what they're doing is by far the most rewarding feeling I've ever known.

Evaluation, Video Analysis, Strategizing and Game-planning, Execution, and then back to Evaluation.
This cycle ensures that the student is constantly being challenged to understanding WHY we are making an adjustment, as opposed to just doing it because an authoritative figure is telling them to do so. Teaching a player to understand the different processes of hitting/catching will in turn help them make adjustments quicker, be more confident in the adjustments, and help self-criticize when working on their own.
