    What I liked about working with gym rat lyfestyl ... is my daughter started working with coach Shay and right away with the knowledge and skill that coach Shay has my daughter instantly her whole routine improved as i watched her Training with my daughter, I dont regret my choice..     Coach Shey is very professional, and she even have lesson plans for each session. She shares with us, so we can follow her instructions to practice on our own. My daughter really enjoys her lesson.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

πŸ€ General drills- footwork, body control, ball handling, finishing, and shooting. We talk about long and short term personal goals and goals for basketball. Come up with a tracking log.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

πŸ€ Coach Shay has been playing basketball since the age of 7. Div 1 player for Prairie View A&M University. Played in both the NCAA tournament 2009 and WNIT 2010. 

πŸ€ Asst. coached the HubCity Gym girls Highschool div

πŸ€ Practice with and help out with the La Sierra University women’s team. 


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

πŸ€ Charge is per session. Monthly payments are available after 3 months of consistent training.

How did you get started teaching?

πŸ€ Coach Shay and Coach Bryan were inspired by their background experiences and their son’s travel basketball team.
