About
I truly care about my students and have the patience and experience to get them to where they want to be. I can play what YOU want to play, and will patiently teach you how to get there!
I hold a BA in music from Azusa Pacific University with an emphasis in Spanish classical guitar, also studying music theory, composition, jazz improv, and arranging. I have extensive global touring experience with various rock/pop bands, and have been performing live for decades. I like to teach students what They want to learn, but also provide a firm musical foundation. We can work on Theory, sight reading, technique, lead, rhythm, and getting to know the fretboard. All the way from simple melodies and chords, to advanced improvisation and song writing, from learning easy-advanced songs to being able to figure out songs by ear - I do it all, and am enthusiastic and patient! https://youtube.com/c/SeanHallGuitar

What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all ages, 5yrs to 88yrs old, all levels and styles, ameuters to professionals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My band(s) play for Charity events, it's a privilege to give to the community.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire me! I'm patient, extremely knowledgeable, less expensive than guitar center/music and arts, and more experienced and educated than any teacher you'll find there. I've had many students go on to play professionally, and a lot just learn to enjoy the instrument with friends and family, and some just learn to enjoy the instrument more for their own personal hobby. Whatever the case, I am happy to get you there!
