Adrienne’s Music Studio
About
I have been teaching music for nearly 15 years. I believe strongly in providing students with a comprehensive music education that encompasses all aspects of tone production, technique, expression, sight-reading, rhythm and ensemble skills. I also know from my own experience that music is infinitely more enjoyable when the player is comfortable, confident and at ease with his skills. My teaching methods include a combination of method books, theory and rhythm studies, solo music, duets and other ensemble works. While classical music is the basis of study for woodwind instruments, I also think it is important to connect to popular music or to any other music that interests the student. I will meet students at whatever level they are at, and help them to achieve their musical and artistic goals -- doing well on an upcoming audition, playing a piece of music they love, or learning a new instrument for the first time.
