Sher's Art Classes
About
We have been teaching art to our community in Orange County for 26 years. We have had students of ours go on to recieve major scholarships, attend top universities, and start careers in interior design, architecture, video game design, graphic designers, fashion designers, etc.
We teach drawing, painting and ceramics. All of our students are at different levels and are working on their own pieces. We work with you one on one to develop the skills you need and create portfolios for college applications. We also have a lot of fun, and offer an enviroment to enjoy yourself.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With new students in our kid's classes we start them all the same, we go over some drawing skills by enlarging and image. This teaches porportions and studying your image, we move on to pastel master copies, abstract acylic painting to practice mixing light, medium and dark colors and then you start your first oil painting, which is also a master copy. From there you continue to paint in an order that we have used for years, that goes over different styles and teaches different skills.
For Adults we offer painting and ceramics in the same class, so we have you tell us what you would like to learn. If you want to make a cermic vase or if you want to create a oil painting from a vacation picture you took last summer, we will guide you through that process.
