About
I am a professional ballerina and teacher here in Los Angeles. I have been teaching ballet for 5+ years and dancing for my entire life. I enjoy teaching ballet to people of all ages as I feel it builds discipline and helps people to achieve their health goals. While dancing and teaching, I am also majoring in early childhood education which is beneficial when teaching dance to younger students.
I LOVE teaching kids. I love seeing children accomplish things they wouldn't have otherwise dreamed of! I think dance is a great way for people to express themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically for private lessons, I prefer to go to the client's house. I think it's important for students to feel comfortable in their learning environment (especially beginners!) i first like to gage the student's level of ability and work from there! Getting to know the student is also important. It is important that we are comfortable with each other before working together!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional ballerina at American Contemporary Ballet, one of the only professional ballet companies in Los Angeles. I have been training my entire life in ballet. I have 5+ years of teaching experience (with students ranging from 1 year old to adults). I am working to get a degree in childhood education on the side of my dance career.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching as I entered my career into being a professional ballerina. As a ballet student, I used to assist in teaching the younger students. Then as I became a professional ballerina, I also got my first teaching job and discovered I love it!
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with beginners, intermediate, and advanced level students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say, look for a teacher who's energetic, knowledgeable, and encouraging. These qualities are so important when hiring a teacher.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have you ever taken ballet before? What are your goals in regards to ballet?
