About

I am a basketball player development specialist and strength & conditioning coach with over 12 years of experience working with athletes of all ages and skill levels—from beginners and youth players to NCAA Division I and professional athletes.

Most recently, I was a member of the basketball staff at Robert Morris University, where I served as Video Manager/Assistant and was part of the program’s 2024–25 NCAA Tournament season.

My coaching and player development experience includes Robert Morris University (NCAA Division I), the University of Oregon (NCAA Division I), Washington Mystics (WNBA), Moberly Area Community College (NJCAA), State Fair Community College (NJCAA), and nationally recognized prep and AAU programs.

Throughout my career, I have worked with 65+ NCAA Division I players and helped more than 150 student-athletes continue their basketball careers at the college level. My coaching experience also includes NCAA Tournament appearances, conference championships, and a USA Prep National Championship.

Today, I am the founder of FAST Basketball, where I specialize in individual and small-group player development. My training focuses on shooting, ball handling, finishing, footwork, basketball IQ, decision-making, defense, strength and conditioning, and overall game development.

I enjoy working with players at every stage of their basketball journey. Whether you’re learning the game, trying to make your school team, preparing for varsity or AAU basketball, or pursuing an opportunity to play in college, my goal is to create a training plan that helps you improve and reach your goals.

My favorite part of player development is building relationships with my athletes and watching their confidence grow as their hard work produces real results on the court.

Train Fast. Think Fast. Play Fast.

Blake was a great coach for my brother. He knows how to work with players from an individual development standpoint in regards to fundamentals, mechanics, and basketball IQ. But he is also adept at game planning, in-game adjustments, and bringing the best out of his players. Highly recommend Blake as a coach for any player of any age. He is a very gifted coach whose experience working in and for elite basketball programs and organizations clearly shows through when he works with players.

My passion for basketball, relationships, and competition are the foundation for why I train. I love helping others reach my goals!

I have worked with a wide range basketball players, from students who are new to the game to expereiced professional players. I love helping young people foster their love of the game as well as helping serious players reach for greatness.

I recently trained a rising high school sophmore who has minimal experience in a serious basketbll environment. It is exciting becasue he has shows flashes of great talent and love for the game but what was missing is direction on how to take the game seriously. My job is to help consistently develop his skillset while along the way making sure his love for the game increases.

Students who are looking to improve their game need to work hard and dedicate themselves to getting better. This takes discipline and focus. Players need to find a trainer that will help them execute on the court but will also enhance their love for the game. The more you love something the more time you will dedicate to it.

What level am I at and what level am I trying to reach?
