UCLA AED CPR
About
The CPR Hero Training Center is an American Heart Association Authorized Training Site based in Anaheim, California, providing CPR and emergency care training to healthcare professionals and the general public across Southern California, with additional classes in Texas and Washington. Offerings include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Heartsaver CPR & First Aid, ECG & Pharmacology, and instructor certification, with CEUs available for select courses.
Instruction is delivered by experienced educators such as EMTs, nurses, and paramedics. Training formats include classroom sessions, online hybrid courses with in-person skills checks, and on-site group training at client facilities. Per AHA policy, a textbook is required; an ebook option is available at sign-up.
In Riverside, discounted AHA BLS and Heartsaver classes are organized by a student group on the UCR campus and taught by undergraduate instructors certified under AHA Instructor Training standards. These classes are not affiliated with and are not taught by UCR, and CPR Hero does not operate on campus. All students receive AHA certification the following business days. No walk-ins are accepted; advance registration is required.
