I am a sophomore at LMU majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Applied Mathematics. This makes math an integral part of my studies.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I always want to get a good idea of the student's understanding of the material. If the students has a harder time understanding the math then I would work with them at a slower pace making sure to explain everything much more thoroughly.
