Marjam creates a comfortable, supportive and safe atmosphere in which to explore one's creative process. I have taken several of her Arno Stern inspired classes over the years and am always happily surprised to find her classes to be a wonderful place for all skill and confidence levels. Everyone participates as equals and influences one another's work by participating together, yet apart (it really is a unique process that needs to be experienced to understand fully). Marjam adapts for each artists needs and goals allowing you to just be with the materials and let whatever happen with as much or as little guidance as you require. I am a professional artist by trade and it is lovely to be able to just play and remember what got me into my field of choice to begin with. I highly recommend Mirjam as an instructor and her approach to teaching.
We develope together a lesson plan to reach the students goal based on her/his experience.
