About this pro

I am a professional artist with 15 years experience in teaching children and adults.  After graduating from the College of Art in Oakland, I went on to earn teaching credentials at UC Santa Cruz and St Mary’s in Moraga.  I have developed a method that will help aspiring artists draw accurately, choose & mix colors, and use various techniques to apply and blend paint.  Come join in the fun and discover your creative potential!

I am passionate about the need for art as an antidote to our stressful modern lives.  I get a great deal of satisfaction from sharing my passion with my students, and watching their skills evolve.

The best thing about art on the lane is Barbra. She’s patient, knowledgeable and kind. I have learned so much from her and appreciate her willingness to help and inspire when I want to give up!

Barbara's precision. Her excellent work & her ability to show students just how to paint as perfect as she does. She's the best!
