I played ball for over 10 years, I stopped playing after I fractured my hip stealing second base about 2 years ago my jr year of high school. Once that happened, I decided it was time for me to hang up my cleats and help coach little league teams. I started assisting my old coach and have been for the past year and a half. During this difficult time I believe all kids should have the chance to do what they love and I love passing on the knowledge I've gained from coaches who taught me. I love working with people who are just starting out and people who need help improving on certain aspects of the game. With my help, I hope to make these times a bit more bright. People have lost their jobs, Kids aren't playing their season so I'd like to offer 1hr of Free coaching.

My son is 8. Asa had volunteered to coach my son's little league team before the league was shut down due to Covid19. Asa reached out to all the parents offering free coaching in the meantime but we were unable to accept his offer because of the lockdown. My son has been working with Asa for about a month now and he loves the way he teaches him. He seems like a very intelligent young man and really loves what he does. I highly recommend.
I believe the most important thing to do with any new player is to find out their strengths and weaknesses. By doing that, I'd have a much better picture of who I'm working with and to focus on more. I would still be going through every aspect that I know how to do (Hit, Field, Baserunning, No pitching or Catching).
I am Now 18 but ive been playing baseball for about 13 years
Because I believe every kid should have the chance to play even through these hard times, I offer free lessons through-out this pandemic.
I started by helping coach with my old baseball coach.
I started to volunteer at local little leagues too
Since I am Young myself, I feel like I can connect much better with the younger students, I've been in their shoes and I know the difference between bad coaches and good ones. I usually work with beginners up to kids who have been playing for about 3 years usually in the age range of 5-10
Hire someone you can trust, Talk with them beforehand, Go over their gameplan. If it seems as if they aren't in it to actually help the player, Then they aren't the right coach.
