Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with new students the most important thing to start with is to ask them what are their current strengths and weaknesses that I can look for and help with
Once we start my drills I allow them to first swing/throw how they they would do it in a game. After they do it their way I wil help them adjust into what's correct and train them to be consistent
Each player has different mechanics and tendencies and what I like to do is see how they do it first before I help them correct anything that may wrong
I Will then Record our first few lessons to show the player and family a before and after of what they did Day 1 vs where they are now
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Cal State East Bay where I received my Bachelors Degree in Business and a Minor Degree in Sports Management
I have been at Headfirst for 15 Years coaching travel teams, running camps/clinics and Doing private lessons
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have an indoor facility in Pleasanton, Ca where I do my trainings. Having an indoor facility vs being out at a park as many advantages. You don't need to worry about Field Issues , weather and daylight when indoors
LESSON PRICING
- Usualy $60 for 30 min or $100 for 60 min

How did you get started teaching?
I played baseball all my life, as I was getting My bachelors degree I started Coaching Summer Camps with a new baseball organization that was small at the time.
I loved being around kids and coaching competitive baseball. So as the company grew and I enjoyed being apart of the business side and coaching side I made it a full time job
I now run the baseball operations and player development for the biggest baseball academy in CA and also was named the First Hall of Famer for the Organization
