What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to first ask what they are struggling with and where they are successful in the problems. Then I like to walk them through the steps with a problem and then have them try it by there own and see where they still need more help in the problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a DA for computer science and tutored students. I also worked in the Math Lab on campus and tutored math.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been tutoring and helping my teachers in class starting when I was in middle school.
