About

I help a player see themselves on a Baseball field "executing" simulated plays.

I use a 6ft x 6ft velcro Baseball field to help a player visualize themselves and to THINK and TALK about what is happening during the play.

After you see my short Lesson, (if you like the idea) I will help you teach your child.

Vidal's Vertical Baseball is a 501c3 Corporation.

I will do my best to raise money to provide as many Free Baseball Lessons at a Baseball School near to you.

I will explain the details when we talk.

I really like seeing the face of the students change from a question mark... to a smiling and excited , "I get it!", as I am asking "leading questions" about the many details that are new and many times "unfamiliar" to these young Baseball player students.

I believe that this makes the Parents happy also.

    Frequently asked questions

I will have a phone meeting with the parent and agree on a place to meet.

I will let the parent know of my goal to provide Free Lessons at a local Baseball

I will show a parent how to teach their child and help them create a lifetime Baseball bond.

    My Lesson is:

    Fun, Interactive and it's Easy.

I always ask "leading questions" to help the students "get it".

You will never hear me say words like:

    Nope, Wrong, or Whatever !

I am 63 now and still have a love for the game of Baseball.

I played baseball up to the Semi-Pro level.

I have never lost the desire to help young players believe in themselves.

I believe that I can be a small, positive part of your child's Baseball Education.

As I reflect back on the many occasions when I did not perform under "pressure situations", I remember that I never stopped and asked questions. I just thought, "I got this, I don't need to ask anyone."

Well, some years back I watched an 8 year old All Star make a decision that I'm pretty sure he blamed the loss of the game on himself. I decided right then that I wanted to create some sort of "thing" that would help baseball players see the game inside their head and help to eliminate "mental errors".

So, I came up with Vertical Baseball.

I believe that with your help, this tool will help many baseball players begin to understand things about the game of baseball that sometimes are not "learned", or understood by even the most experienced players.

I have been invited to two Baseball Camps that serverd players aged 8-12.

I really like helping NEW players to see things that are right in front of them but not "visible" inside their brain until someone begins to ask questions.

That is what I belieive Vidal's Vertical Baseball is starting to provide the Baseball community.

Open your mind to be challenged by questions that you might already believe you know the total answer to.

You might be pleasantly suprised to realized that you just saw something that you had not noticed because you have not yet lived that "game situation" in your short Baseball life.

What exercises can I start to learn before I start to train for Baseball ?
