Rebecca Nakamura teaches private piano and music theory lessons in El Cajon, CA (San Diego County). She charges a low monthly rate for weekly half-hour lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. 45-minute and hour-long lessons may also be arranged and are recommended for older and/or more advanced students. A FREE trial lesson/consultation is offered! Rebecca has a Bachelor of Music degree from San Diego State University, with an emphasis in Piano: Professional Studies. Rebecca has been teaching professionally since February 2008 and absolutely loves her 75+ students! Rebecca is a member of the Music Teacher's Association of California (MTAC), San Diego branch. Ask how students can join the Certificate of Merit program sponsored by MTAC! The goals of the program are: To provide a systematic and comprehensive plan developing: ~Music theory ~Performance skills ~Technique ~Ear training ~Sight-reading ~Developing practical goals to help students maintain a steady and focused approach to their musical studies. ~Encouraging students to strive for musical excellence. ~Creating opportunities where students can share their music with others.
