What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to teach new student the basic. What makes a picture more than just a picture but a statement. Anybody can take a picture but not everyone can make art.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a full time videographer and photographer for a real estate company. I also do independent work. I graduated from UCSB with a film and media study major. I worked for Disney Animation. I am also a licensed drone pilot.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$100 an hour or $250 for 3 hours.
How did you get started teaching?
All my friends would ask me “hey I got a new camera, can you teach me how to use it” I’m like sure.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with seniors, to middle school student. Anyone who is willing to learn I’ll teach.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently did a photo shoot for a client wedding. The day was hot and sunny and we had limited time to travel. I found a local park and took some amazing pictures for them. They were happy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Taking pictures should bring you joy. If the instructor loves what he does, you’ll learn a lot more.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What kind of photos do you want to take? Portraits, Sports, Corporate, Nature etc.
