Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assessing the students' current skill set and experience playing the sport and come up with sessions to compliment what they currently are strong at and skills that need to be developed to attain their goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15 plus years coaching youth, high school and college level athletes and one on one training session classes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$45hr per athlete
How did you get started teaching?
I have been playing the game of basketball since the age of four and my passion for the game lead me to start working with the youth in my late twenties and the passion has only grown more since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've work with students of all ages and skill set from beginner to high level high school.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't hire someone alone on how high of a level they played the game because playing at a high level doesn't always translate into being a great coach or mentor. The best players or former players aren't always the best coaches or don't always know how to translate it into teaching someone else the skill set. Also hire a coach that will best improve your skill set wherever you may be at that time.
