About

As a former professional basketball player and current college basketball coach, I take pride in teaching to people of all walks of life. I truly believe that sports are an avenue to bring everyone together in an effort to achieve individual and group goals. There is nothing better than working hard and seeing results! After training athletes from age 5 to age 55, over the last eight years, I find it invaluable to set the bar high and do whatever it takes to acheive those goals.

Whether it is getting quicker, becoming a better ball handler, finishing better at the rim, or achieving your nutritional goals, I am here to help!

Frequently asked questions

Initially, I like to find out what the student's end goals are so that we can set out a plan. Then, I typcally assess the student to find out where they are and what is an appropriate starting point. Next, we begin taking steps in the right direction, making sure we are excelling at a safe pace, constantly reviewing our goals as well as setting new ones!

Played college basketball at San Diego Mesa and was a unanimous first team all conference selection,  2x Player of the Week, and Team captain. Following my college career, I played two years overseas, one in Munich, Germany and one in Barcelona, Spain.

Following my playing career, I received my Masters Degree in Sports Psychology from the University of Denver.

During my studies, I spent three years as the head varsity Girls Basketball Coach at the Preuss School, which led to my current position as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at UCSD.

I have worked with students of all skill levels from young beginners to professional athletes to older people just looking to stay in shape!
