What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Select a project that suits their skill level. Walk them step by step through the painting project. Give them advice and tips as they advance. Celebrate and encourage. All of this is done with patience and consistent positive critique.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a student of art all of my life. I began drawing and painting at the age of 5. My technical training was in 3D modeling and graphics. I have painted over 1000 portraits over the years. Today I teach acrylic painting classes to people of every age group gender, and skill level. To date I have taught over 100 different painting sessions to various class sizes from.1 to 100 students. My skins are in Acrylic painting on canvas, graphite pencils, digital airbrushing, Architectural 3D modeling, and Cartooning and Illistration. I have illustrated for several published books as well.
