About
I love Art and everything Creative! I have a passion for teaching and discovering new creative talents with each student. My experience in the multi art fields brings a real sense of art connection between me and my students. My classes speak for themselves.
My studio is called La Vie Arts Academy, ("La Vie" means "Life" if French) and we focus on the discovery of their Life in the Creative Arts. I love to bring that connection together, I could'nt be in a happier place.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For a new student, I have a simple registration form that has a few questions about their past experience with the lesson. What they liked, disliked, learned and want to learn, then we discuss the direction for their lesson plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always been an Artist. I grew up all around Artistic environments. I studied Design and Fashion Design at FIDM, then continued to study Art in Graphic arts, plus studied Art in Acrylics, clay, sculpture, and mixed media.
I also have run my own Art studios since 2002, teaching hundreds of students. My current Studio is in Cameron Park, CA
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Classes start at $20/hr but pricing varies depending on the project
How did you get started teaching?
I love Art and decided to teach art to my kids, then was inspired to teach other kids, then opened my first studio in 2002.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students. From Toddlers to Seniors.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my favorites events are Birthday Paint Parties. Getting to set up for a paint party is awesome. I also customize the party and paint project to the guest's hobbies/things they like so they paint something that connects everyone to the Birthday person. I get to teach and celebrate at every party and that is so satisfying and brings me joy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Okay, if a student is looking to hire a teacher, I would suggest to find someone that has a true passion for what they teach. It doesnt matter the subject or where they taught, having the passion is key.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If a student has certain needs in learning something, this should be discussed at the beginning of the meeting.
