I offer personal tutoring in Math and Science for primary age children. My goal is to help students to reach their potential in these important subjects. I have been teaching for over 20 years.
I like to make learning as much fun as possible and use an interactive approach to tutoring with as much visual back up as possible as I believe children learn better this way.
I am happy to provide references upon request from other parents whose children I have tutored recently.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I feel that it is important to check the individual needs of students and find out what learning style works best for them.
I like to form a warm relationship my students and get to know them on a personal level, such as finding out what their interests are etc.
I try to relate the subject we are studying to real life as much as possible as this makes it more relevant to them.
