About
I’m more than just a basketball trainer. I’m someone who genuinely cares about helping each player become the best version of themselves, both on and off the court.
What sets my training apart is the energy, encouragement, and attention to detail I bring to every session. I’m very vocal and engaged because I want players to feel supported while also being challenged to grow. I pay attention to the small details in their game whether it’s improving their shooting form, tightening their handles, finishing around the basket, making better decisions, or becoming a stronger defender. Sometimes the smallest adjustment can make the biggest difference.
Most importantly, I want every player to leave a session feeling more confident than when they arrived. Basketball can be frustrating, especially when a player feels like they aren’t improving. My goal is to help them recognize their progress, build confidence, and develop a mindset that carries beyond basketball.
I truly love what I do. Basketball has given me so much, and I want to give that same experience to the next generation. I want my players to have fun, work hard, build relationships, and learn that improvement comes from being willing to push yourself.
When you train with me, you’re not just getting someone to run drills. You’re getting a coach who will encourage you, challenge you, teach you, and believe in you every step of the way.

How did you get started teaching?
Well I have enjoyed the game of basketball growing up all my life and so as I played I wanted to share with others this beautiful game. I got comments on why don't I do it, so that had me thinking. I really want to make a great impact on the younger generation so why not teach them the skills that I have had on the court that made me successful. So many people also helped me out to and made me realize that I can teach the game of basketball, so here I am with many people who believe in me.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have started working with students in high school and middle schools do even elementary students. I have also worked with some professional basketball players and older people who just play for fun. But my main focus group that I have been teaching are the younger generation that is elementary to high school
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
So I play in a basketball tournament every year in the month of July. In this past year, 2018, my team and I won the championship. I hit 9 three in a blowout win to win it all. It was all because of the hard work that we have put in to get to the championship. The chemistry, the hours of practice, the hours hanging out together after practice. It all paid off and I am super great for the hard work to pay off.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise them to check out the teachers background before anything and make sure that they are clean and that other people are training with them. Check their social media or ID. With the money situation, training kids in basketball should not cost too much. With the texting, if they aren’t responding quickly to your text or not wanting to call you when you are trying to find a day to train then be careful. I would also tell them to make sure that the trainer knows what he is talking about, whether in the sessions or when you asking them questions through text.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Am I working hard enough?
How can I show that I want it the most?
What can I do to be more aggressive?
How am I able to outsmart my defender?
Is this the only way to beat my defender?
Are there other ways to make this move more effective? If so, how!
