About
Hi! My name is Randee Hindman & I am a full time professional softball instructor based out of the Bay Area & Central Valley. I have 22 years of playing experience, 3 years at a collegiate level, am a trusted instructor for SRVGAL organization, assist with Saint Mary's HS & Coach for 18U Gold Batbusters. I specialize in all aspects of the game: pitching, infield/outfield, catching, hitting & specific positions. My students are what I pride myself on. Teaching them proper mechanics, getting them prepared for collegiate level instruction and competition, etc.
My service stands out because I don't just teach the same fundamentals/mechanics to every student of mine. I take the time to dissect each & every one of my students capabilities & provide them techniques that would advantage them most. I also am still active in the softball community & training for a professional league so I am very hands on with my descriptive drills. Athletes tend to learn better off of visual instruction and I love to help that way.
Some achievements of mine:
- 3 year Starter Varsity for Saint Mary's HS in Stockton, Ca
- 3 year 1st team all league. Received nominations in both pitching & shortstop skills.
- 3 1st Team All Conference
- first Player to be inducted in St. Mary's Hall of Fame since 1991. Gained the most strikeouts in a game (5times.. 17 K's total per game)
- MVP of league in 2011 & 2012
- Finished with an Era total of 1.67 all 3 years combined
- Received 'Freshman Pitcher of the Year' 2012 @Stanislaus State University (Division ll)
- Received 1st Team All League @Cabrillo College for Shortstop
- Private instructor for 2 years now - goal is to coach at a Divsion 1 level &/or play professionally (fingers crossed they put California Commotion back in the game)
Being actively involved in softball for 22 years, I still wake up everyday feening for more. Studying reels, getting better acclimated to the newest technology & their purposes is what I spend quality time on so that I can be more educated in all aspects of the game. I truly love what I do. The passion still remains & my goal for each student of mine is to get them to their desired level of play. Whether it be with a competitive level or them striving for a division 1 spot on a roster. I dedicate my services to provide them ample opportunities for the game.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find an instructor that works for YOU. Not always (this is also from personal experience) do you feel comforted/fully informed with certain instructors. I would advise finding someone who is positive, educated in skill & experience, someone who will push you each session & have your very best interest at heart.
