What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students usually come with a project in mind. Working mostly from, I teach them the process of drawing and painting from A-Z.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm self-taught but I have been teaching for 6 years. I have been teaching at my studio since 2014 and taught at Fresno Adult School in Fresno, CA and at Michaels Arts & Craft Store in Clovis, CA from 2011-2015. I'
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For youth (age 7-16): the fee is $90 for 4 consecutive weeks, 2 hours per week, supplies included.
For adults: the fee is $95 for 4 consecutive weeks, 2 hours per week + $20-$30 for the supplies.
How did you get started teaching?
Due to demand from several patrons.

All levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My studio is part of ArtHop, monthly event in Fresno occuring the first Thursday of each month where 50+ art venues are open to the public from 5:00-8:00pm.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
No experience is necessary and talent is optional. Anybody can learn to draw and paint. You just need the will to learn something new and fun. Not to mention art also serves as therapy. Just give it a try and you will be glad you did.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do not think, just come to the studio and start creating!
