What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Focusing in on what they want to specifically learn. Go over either written or video elements to familiarize content then go out and shoot one on one with feedback. After we go over images with a brief intro to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop tips and tricks. Classes are more designed to teach how to take better pictures then it is to teach a beginner from scratch.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Photograpy major at FresnoCity College as well as over 30 years of real world photography experience multi photo genre's.

$50 per hour with a 3 hour minimum

How did you get started teaching?

I have always been interested in helping others with experience I can share. I'm passionate about capturing the human spirit and it shows in my work.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types but mostly adults over 18

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I love shooting Western events. I strive to get great candids and action shots of Rodeo so when people view they can get a sense of what it was like to be there along with great action shots.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Be ready to have fun and keep an open mind. I'll give you way more information than you pay for. Pay attention because you'll get a lot in short amount of time.

Being clear with their intentions and how serious they are about learning.
