What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I access each person to see where they are in the learning process, as well as discussing with them what they hope to learn. Some student photographers want to be better photographers and want to shoot there own images in their own way, while others want to open a photography business and work for clients. The process of learning is quite different. Lessons are very hands-on. Students are first to be invited to attend model shoots when I go to unique locations (mostly local) to illustrate a new book or for advertising.
