I have extensive experience as a fine art and documentary photographer including many museum exhibitions and books. I have alos done wedding photography, portraiture, and photojournalism. I have taught photography full time in a university art department.

I have a passion for making images. Over the years my cameras have opened many doors into other cultures and other lives. This has been the most rewarding aspect of my career.
I also enjoy sharing what I have learned with motivated students who are discovering their passion to make images and know the world.

I ask questions to learn the student's interests and background. I also like to see examples of work the student has done previously.
