About

I was an assistant coach at Fullerton College for the Women's Team from 2011 to 2017 and helped them won two consecutive State Championships in 2013 and 2014. I received the ITA California Assistant Coach of the Year Award in 2017. I am currently the head coach of Fullerton Union High School Tennis Porgram. I have a wealth of tennis knowledge and a ton of patience.

I enjoy the connection I have with my students. It is fulfilling to me to see my students grow as tennis players and as a person. Of course I am teaching to make a living, every instructor does, but I teach because it is a passion of mine.

Frequently asked questions

I would first evaluate the student's level.

Then indentify any bad habits already formed either by themselves or other instructor.

Allowing the new student to ask me anything to get to know me better.

Ask what the player's goals are for learning tennis, whether it'd be for fun or for playing on a school team.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business and graduated from DeVry Univeristy but my true passion is in tennis. My tennis experience was not learned from a school or courses offered by professions, rather I learned from everyday coaches. I feel there are more to coaching and teaching than showing a student the right forms, footwork and how to play, I feel it is more important to be able to relate to the players, to be able to communicate with them and to respect them. These are the things I learned from coaches and through life experiences.

$45/Hour. If you have more than one kid to enroll, discount pricing will aplly or if you and your friends would like to form a small group lesson, the group lesson would be $100 for a group of 4 for an hour and a half.

I was a walk on at Fullerton College back in 2011. I knew nothing about coaching. I asked the head coach at the time if I can just join him as a volunteer and to learn from him. Gladly he said yes to me and six years later and two State titles later, here I am.

I have worked with students as young as 5 years old and as old as a student in her mid fifties. But I primarily work with hgih school players and college players.

One of my players whom I have known and worked with for the past three years had my finest season in college yet. Finishing as a finalist at the Ornage Empire Conference Tournament at Cypress College both in singles and doubles. Getting to the round of 16th in singles and quarterfinals in doubles at the Ojai Tournament. Getting a California ranking in the women's devision of 11 in singles and 6 in doubles. Very proud to see one of my own reached her goal and success.

Do not feel that the more you pay is the more you'll get. Look for an instructor you or your kids would feel comfortable with. Look for a coach who doesn't exude of sense of cockiness or arrogant, becasue then your kids will pick up on those personalities.

A student must fist know what she/he wants? Is it to learn tennis for fun and health or does the student want to be competing in tournaments or on a school team.
