Gymnastics Coach/Personal Trainer
About
I’ve been involved in gymnastics for 40 years! I was a competitive gymnast for 10 years and I’ve been coaching for over 30 years! I absolutely love what I do!
I’ve also been involved in the fitness industry for 20 years. I have competed as a fitness competitor and I’m a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE.
I offer private gymnastics lessons, as well as fitness classes, small group and personal training.
The thing I enjoy most about what I do is connecting with people and helping them reach their goals. I feel best when I know that I’m making a positive difference in somebody's life!

I have 40 years of experience in gymnastics as a competitor and as a coach. I've coached every age and every level.
I have a B.A. degree in Child Development from California State University Los Angeles so I specialize in working with children.
I'm a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE as well as a former Fitness competitor.
I own my own fitness company and I coach interval training classes 6 days a week at Club Champion Gymnastics in Pasadena.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching gymnastics when I was 15 years old. I would teach classes before my workouts began. I love kids, Gymnastics and teaching! Teaching has been my life's passion!
Fitness has just been an extension of my love for gymnastics. I love to challenge my body to stay strong and flexible, and I love helping other people do the same.
What types of students have you worked with?
Every age and every level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My gymnasts had a great competition this past weekend! We have competitions throughout the year.
I'm also excited because I just had another person sign up for my fitness classes because she wants to be more healthy!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always look for someone who has some competitive experience, is a USAG member and is a very positive person.
The same is true for fitness.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Make sure that the coach feels confident that he/she is able to help the student reach their goal/s.
