My name is Lucian Waters. I’m a full time recording artist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. I spend my time producing and performing my own original music. I graduated from Tufts University in 2021, where I minored in music, and played in jazz ensembles. I also spent the summers playing jazz piano twice a week at a fine dining Italian restaurant.
I have experience teaching piano lessons to people of all ages and skill levels. I can also teach music production/recording for R&B/Hip-hop if students are interested.
I believe that music lessons, especially for beginners and children, should be fun!! Only once students learn to enjoy their practice and want to accelerate their progress do I get into the more technical learning.
I teach music theory and train students to identify chords and melodies by ear. If you’re looking for someone to teach you how to read music, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
