About

I like building up people's confidence, especially when they are brave enough to step outside of their comfort zone!

I work really well with athletes of all ages. No matter if your kid is itty bitty or if you're wise beyond your years.

My primary goal when we train is to make the experience fun and worth your time and money. I will lead you through a set of exercises and drills that focuses on building upon the fundamentals of beach volleyball.

I am really passionate about introducing beach volleyball to every demographic.

I come from humble beginnings, both my parents worked countless hours to provide for my brother, sister, and myself.

Therefore, I will never turn away a customer who cannot meet my initial rate. So please feel free to negotiate with me if you cannot meet my rate.

I will try to work with every individual to ensure they have equal access to the sport I love.

Also, each month I will host a beach clean-up with my clients. This is a great way for us all to come together as a community to support "Mother Earth" and all her glory!

I look forward to meeting you!

COVID-19 & State Guidelines:

We will be following all local guidelines while practicing. Limit two players per an hour time block or schedule individual lessons with me.

The instruction was technical and refined but in a fun and playful lesson. Dina is very supportive and developed confidence, skills and a newfound passion for beach volleyball.

Dana is amazing! She really took the time and focused on what my 7 year old son needed to work on.
The idea of teaching the foundation of volleyball alongside muscle strengthening is brilliant. I love that Dina is teaching the kids how to properly play so they won’t be injured. Dana gave a lot of tips to practice at home as well which I appreciated.

    Frequently asked questions

We first discuss skill level and goals before your session over the phone together.

When we meet in person, I will have a sequence of drills ready for practical application and assess which fundamentals or areas could use more instruction.

We work on footwork, consistency, and precision to get you feeling confident on the sand.

I have played volleyball for ten years and have a thorough understanding of how to teach all age demographics. I have coached all ages (7 - 60 years old).

I can also teach children with special needs but still would like to learn the fundamentals of the game.

I am trained to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 infections. Therefore, we will be following all local guidelines to stay safe.

    $25 per session (30 minutes)

    3 sessions a week (30 minutes) $75

    4 sessions a week (30 minutes) $100

    5 sessions a week (30 minutes) $125

    $45 per session (1 hour)

    3 sessions a week (45 minutes) $135

    4 sessions a week (45 minutes) $180

    5 sessions a week (45 minutes) $225

I taught ages 6-16 years old in high school and continued during college.

Once you know the fundamentals of volleyball you can teach any age and anyone with a good attitude.

I have worked with all types of students. Please feel free to reach out to me if your child is shy, has any communication issues, or special needs.

I will work with your child where they are in life and build helpful lifelong skills along the way.

You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Who even came up with that expression?

I recently trained with a woman who thought she was "too old" to learn a new activity. After five lessons she felt comfortable enough playing 4"s with her family and friends! She is no longer sitting on the sidelines and is getting a great workout on the weekends.

The student needs to feel excitement and encouragement from their coach. We all did not become experts in one day.

This experience will be gradual and each session you will walk away with a new challenge and focus for the week.

It would be best if you didn't overthink our practice time. We will work fluidly to see what areas could use more focus and have fun while doing so.

If you have any underlying health conditions and feel comfortable disclosing with me, then we can make sure that in any situation, I am prepared to assist you should you need any help.
