I have been teaching in Huntington Beach for over 35 years, 30 years at AB Music Studios. I am a graduate of Musicians Institute. I teach all styles of music: Rock, Pop, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Country to students at any level; beginner to advanced.

My focus is on keeping students interested so practicing the guitar is fun. After learning a few basic chords, students can choose any song or style of music that they want to play.

I love seeing students improve and develop skills on the guitar they never thought possible!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

If you are a beginner student the first thing you will learn will be some of the basic chords. Then you will learn how to play songs using the basic chords with strum patterns.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm a graduate of Muscians Institute. I've been teaching guitar for over 35 years.
