Wavehuggers Surf School

Wavehuggers is an ocean conscious surf school on a mission to teach people how to protect and enjoy the waves we love! Since 2013, we have used surf lessons as a way to share the fun of surfing and the importance of ocean conservation with the public.

Wavehuggers teaches throughout Southern California and offers private surf lessons, children's surf camps, video surf coaching, and community classes. All of our private surf lessons are 2 hours, and include the use of gear (foam top surfboard and wetsuit). Our instructors are all CPR-certified, experienced professionals, and some of the best you will find in the industry. We pride ourselves on giving people the full experience of surfing; we cover safety, etiquette, technique, tides, ocean conditions and more! Wavehuggers works with beginners, intermediate, and advanced surfers.
