Armando Roybal is a Certified Fitness Specialist, Health Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer trained by Orange Coast College in 2000. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Fitness Trainer by ISSA , as well as aqua, cycling and Insanity licensed. Currently, he is teaching group exercise classes such as Boot Camp, Circuit Training. For the past 20 years, he has been passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals. He makes spending time with family a priority. Extreme sports such as surfing, motorcycling and sand boarding are enjoyable as much as art and music.
Armando enjoys working with people and helping them achieve their fitness goals. With 20 years of experience he has helped a lot of people and says it's the greatest feeling. Looking forward to meeting new people and getting them to their goals using various techniques that are customized for that individual.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First go over injuries and limitations. Then find out goals and start exercises that the client can handle at a moderate exertion and progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Health/Fitness Specialist with AA and Business Administration certifications from Orange Coast College. ISSA Certified, nutrition certified, and youth and elderly certified. Cycle, boot camp and insanity instructor.

How did you get started teaching?
My first training employer was L A Fitness where I excelled to manager and worked for 8 years. Where I met lots of wonderful people and helped them reach their goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages 8 to 80, from physically challenged to athletes, but my niche is woman between 40 to 80 years of age.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently helped a 79 years young lady accomplish a goal of deadlifting 135 lbs.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be in it to help people and the rest will follow.
