Physical health Education, My background in teaching is a big supporting factor for my ability to teaching these necessary skills to others.
How did you get started teaching?
I started when I was in 7th grade when my then coach asked me to try it out. I tried it out and fell in love!
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with month old children all the way to late 60’s I teach all ages. i work with disabilities as well and created special programs for everyone individually.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be willing to learn what they are willing to teach you. They obviously have something you are looking for so be grateful for whatever they are willing to share with you. Be sure the teacher can tell you what you will be expected to learn by the end of your sessions, requirements, dangers, and emergency plans. They should be able to tell you best ways or practices for any given skill
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be specific in what you are expecting from the teacher and session.
Ask about routines, safety protocols, times, and communication channels.
