GRG TRAINING
About
Hi! My name is Zakary Abdalla. I've been playing basketball my whole life and was raised around the best of the best. I played Division 1 basketball at Detroit Mercy, and decided to take a step back and go the Division 2 route at California State Univeristy Dominguez Hills to be closer to home. As a player I've trained with guards such as Kyrie Irving and bigs such as Andre Drummond. So I'm very versatile. I was basically raised by the best coaches in the world. My grandfather, Tim Grgurich, is considered one of the greatest NBA Assistant Coaches ever and is credited with inventing player development in basketball. He's coached all your favorite players from Jason Kidd to Scottie Pippen to Gary Payton to Stacey Augmon to Dirk Nowitzki, the list goes on and on. All of his insight has been passed down to me. I've learned from other great coaches such as Jamahl Mosley, New Orleans Pelicans head coach, and Sean Sweeney, Orlando Magic head coach. I've also worked with some of the best trainers in the world, Phil Handy being one of them. Continuing on the training route I've helped learn from Joe Abunassar the creator of Impact Basketball where countless NBA players have came out of. I workout and help out at Impact every day. I've been training kids for years on the side in my hometown of Las Vegas. As I move out to California for school I want to continue to help kids and build my repertoire of training.
