Stachers Skate Academy
About
I remember the first time I borrowed my friends skateboard to ride around, the first time I ollied, and the first time I kickflipped. I also remember the sense of reward, freedom, and achievement that came with it. I enjoy seeing others get these same feelings, and am even more excited to help them get there.
I've taught kids as young as 3, and adults well in to their 60s. I have 14 years of experience teaching skateboarding, and a couple of my younger students are currently competing to qualify in the olympics. Even when I'm not getting paid, I always find myself helping others progress.
I also remember my first time falling (not as great of a feeling, because I was unprepared). I can help you prevent injuries by going over proper equipment, teaching you how to fall, and correct technique so you don't fall in the first place.
In general, skateboarding is a great vehicle to a sense of achievement, discipline, and most of all, FUN!!! Let's get rollin'.
I enjoy seeing and helping others progress, build confidence, and have fun rolling around. The freedom one gets from skating is great, and I love helping people create that freedom for themselves.
