Mitchell Holland School Of Hitting
About
Hello, my name is Mitchell Holland and I am currently an Assistant Baseball Coach at Saddleback College. This is my first year of being an assistant on staff at Saddleaback after finishing playing baseball at and graduating from UC Irvine in 2016. Previous to Saddleback College, I served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at UC Irvine for two years as well as one season as an Assistant Coach at JSerra Catholic High School.
As a player I was a two-time All-Big West Conference first baseman as well as the Scholar Athlete of the Year at Saddleback College. I have a great passion for baseball and I love teaching the game to young kids, so I hope that you will give me the opportunity to work with your kids. All lessons will be out of Saddleback College's batting cages. Thank you.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
While working with a player for the first time, I observe the way the player swings the bat, the way their body works, and then I determine the appropriate steps in trying to improve the swing mechanics and approach.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing system is $40 for 30 minutes and $50 for 45 minutes. My preferred amount of time to work with a player (depending on the age) is 30 minutes because 45 minutes solo is a lot of work. The only time I recommmend 45 minutes is for a dual lesson with pitching and hitting.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of students ranging from 8 years old to high school aged kids.
