About
Here at JNT development we focus on understanding and attacking the process. We believe that if you fall in love with the process of growth you can never be defeated, because the process of self development is never ending. This approach helps our athletes overcome their weaknesses on and off the court and develop as outstanding men and women of our community
I have been developing players for the past 5 years but my passion and love come from my 24years (and counting ) of basketball experience the things i teach is knowledge handed down or gained through the game of basketball it has taken me to places I’d never imagine and i aim to help our youth experience greater things to come
i have coached at great programs such as Open Gym Premier and JW basketball which have helped shape the aprroach to coaching i use today

I use the first few sessions to identify and assess their strengths and weaknesses (athleticism, ball handling, shooting form and mechanics, mental capabilities etc) once i have understanding of that we’ll move in progressions (my students have work they must do at home each week, a lot like homework but for basketball ) as they progress we set to challenge them each session

How did you get started teaching?
My love and hunger for knowledge of the game brought me to training young athletes . Was asked to help out with a small group at JWbasketball and the way the kids took to me and my ability to relate to the kids early struggle really resonated with me
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To understand the difference between a coach just putting you through a work out and a coach who is pouring into your growth as a person
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
No question is a dumb question but you should always self assess before asking because you may already have the answer
