Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our initial session will be an assessment style workout where you go through some of the same drills as my NBA clients to see where you are with your baseline assets on the floor. Once I can assess your strengths and areas that need more attention, we will sit down and build out a customized plan to fit your goals and needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Going on year 15 of full time basketball coaching, I am qualified to help you or your child grow at any level. I have coached 6 years of Division 1 Men's Basketball at UConn and UCF, I have worked with thousands of amateur clients all over the world, and I run a full-scale training and consulting business where NBA and other professional athletes entrust me to develop their skills. I know what it takes to get you to the next level, as I have seen or worked at each level of basketball.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My private session rate is $200, but packages for long-term clients are available.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages from 5 year olds to professional athletes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It should be based off of how serious you are about your development as well as a connection with the teacher. You have to constantly be learning and stretched outside of your comfort zone, all while enjoying your process.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What short-term or long-term basketball goals do I have?
How committed am I to working towards my school and basketball goals?
