Flashbang Firearms founded by a 27 year LAPD Detective. All instructors are current/retired law enforcement/ with extensive experience with firearms, tactics and training in these fields. Experience of the instructors includes Tactical Surveillance Detectives, SWAT, K9, All with a major Metropolitan Police Department. Together the instructors bring over 110 years of experience. Safety is our priority and our commitment to each student is second to none. We keep our classes private 1 on 1 or extremely small so our instructor-student ratio is maintemed at our standard. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We discuss each students goals and experience. We also look at time and availablilty. We then give our recommendations as to the best program to fit the students needs. Email, text, phone conversations are encouraged in order to clearly see the students goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a 27 year veteran of law enforcement one of my duties has been as a firearms instructor. I am a department and CA state certified firearms instructor. I continue to attend courses in order to improfobe and give my students the very best in instruction. Together our instructors have trained thousands students of all levels from beginners to extremely advanced.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our standard rate is $125 per hour for private lessons, this price includes the use of our private range. We can discount that price for multiple hours or lessons.
Our group rate is $400 for a 5 hour introduction to firearms course, this also includes the cost of our private range. The groups are limited to a maximum of 5 students for every 1 instructor. We will max out at 20 students.
