Freedom Firearms Training specializes in helping first time shooters become comfortable with firearms. Everything from safety, grip, stance, sights, etc...to actually taking it to the range to shoot. Also, helping more experienced shooters improve their skills with accuracy.
I'm a certified instructor and a Leader at The Well Armed Woman.
At one time, I was afraid of being around guns. I took a one-on-one lesson and it really changed my outlook on shooting. Now, I love to shoot any (and every) gun!
When I teach, I LOVE giving that back...to help people not only overcome that fear, but to actually become a really good shot!

My trainer Lori McGovern was very friendly and helpful. While I wasnt completely new to working with firearms, I still had much to learn and was eager to learn more as I told her my experiences. She then taught me the proper procedures and protocols when at a firing range and showed me how to better perfect my stance, grip, recoil control and aim. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would recommend her and Freedom Firearms Training to anyone wanting to learn proper firearm skills.
