What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with the basics of camera knowledge, Appature(F-stop) ISO, and Shutter Speed. Once a proper exposure is taken we then go into processing the photo and Adobe suite workflow.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Two years of college course in Digital Photography, Film Production, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X. Three years of real life experience working for varies studios, digital signage for companies, film work for non profit organizations, and my own projects in both photography and film. I also have experience instructing as I take on interns at my studio.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I can offer crash course in full photography production at my studio in La Mirada, from exposure to final print. Four hours on Saturdays from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Dates are at a first come first serve bases. Each session runs $300, I provide equipment and materials.
How did you get started teaching?
I like to share what I have learned. I give student the tools needed to take proper exposure and then let there creativity fool through proper knowledge.
