About

I think it's very important to find a mentor who will help student grow and realize inner potential. Even though I have very distinguished painting style I am always very careful in telling my insight to the student. I never impose my opinion or painting style. I try to help students navigate their own path and give them knowledge they need to improve and succeed in their style. Depending on student request I can explain things and give directions with words or by showing how to do it.

In my own experience I've ondergone classical Art training starting from the age of 10 in a special Art School for gifted children. Since then I studied in Italy, Denmark, Russia and Ukraine. I hold Master Degree in Education with concentration in Fine Arts.

I enjoy seeing my students excited about Art in general and their progress in creating their Art.

    A year ago, I knew almost nothing about painting, but I decided to learn something new during the quarantine. I was referred to Natalia from an area art club as someone who could help me find my own voice in art (I told them I was not interested in painting pine trees and mountains). Natalia looked at the few, very amateurish, pieces I had made and said that I was born an artist, but I had not learned many of the basic skills of painting. We started with basic composition and color. Now, one year later, I have the confidence of painting most anything that interests me. After learning the basic elements of art, and a bit of anatomy, I have found my voice in the abstract. I couldnt be more pleased that the time I spent at home, and the time I spent learning with Natalia, have given me a gift I never dreamed I would have.
