The best "thing" about baseball is seeing the people come together and play, let alone the gatherings that follow to watch. I see it as a "safe" sport. It has risks surely, like life. But with balance and timing, the rhythm of the game has had me hooked for quite some time.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Each "student" will get an assessment for their first workout. The game is simple. But that doesn't make it easy.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been playing baseball since I was just over 3 years of age. I developed a love and a true passion for the game as I played it. I've been fortunate enough to call the game, my profession. I have pitched and hit in the major leagues, and I have spent much time in the "laboratory" phases of seeking "betterment." I am proud to be sharing my skill set and would be honored to share it with "you," whoever "you" are.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

As mentioned on our @Baseballscool website, we have several different options and lesson plans. As we all have been impacted by the pandemic, we have made some adjustments to our pricing in the midst of this storm we all are in. We are offering ALL services @Baseballscool, to be reduced 50% through the remainder of the 2020 calendar year. In addition, we will be announcing other offers, as well as new member discounts. We hope to hear from, and or, see you soon!

How did you get started teaching?

I was always a sponge. As I've found the information I've soaked up to be valuable, I've always been one to care to share.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would ask, what do you want to be? If you want to be an astronaut, I wouldn't recommend going to a skate park to find someone who can teach you about space. I would seek individuals who are ambitious themselves in the field you're interested in. I once heard, those who can do, can't teach, those who cannot do, can teach. I find that statement not to be entirely accurate. Don't judge a book by its cover, judge a book by its content. I have played in the major leagues, and believe that comes with value as a teacher or instructor. But, that doesn't mean if you haven't played in the major leagues, you can't coach. That would be a lie. Discover yourself, and find someone who pushed you to be a better version of yourself, every single day, let alone "session." Time is...

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

The student needs to have a vision, if not, the teacher will instill their own.
