Everyone Can Paint

Chappy had a class of mostly beginner to intermediate level students working in different mediums - oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolor. His ability to glide from one person/ medium/ level/ project to the next was amazing. The entire class felt like we gained a great deal from him regardless of who he was instructing in which medium. No matter what he was teaching an individual on a given project, he always offered information we all could use. Not only is Chappy a skilled artist, but more importantly he is able to teach in a manner that students can understand and apply to their mediums. I highly recommend this artist-teacher to anyone interested in improving their painting skills.

As a sixty-seven year old beginner in water color painting, I got so much support, information and guidance from Chappy Valente that I continued to paint after his class and am enrolled in the next one. Although water color is a hard medium and Ive taken some acrylic painting classes off & on over the years, Ive never had the passion to paint every day, enjoy tiny steps of progress AND look forward to more instruction. Its trite, but true: if I can take this class and enjoy painting, then ANYONE can paint!
