1 On 1 Basketball Training (Div. 1 College Basketball Experience)
About
Up and coming college basketball coach willing to get players better at all levels - No gimmicks or secrets, it is all about the daily skill work put in! 4 years of experience working with Division I college basketball players at Long Beach State. From assisting with drills in practice to individual workouts. Most common ages worked with have ranged from 19-23 years old. Clients can expect an organized, efficient workout session. Once I see a players strengths and weakness I will tailor workouts to their individual games. I also like to watch game film to see how they play in an organized team setting and what we can work on there as well.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When getting to know a new client/student I like to approach it from a different angle than just jumping straight into drills/instruction.
It is best to start with some competitive yet light basketball games such as Knock out and a game of Horse. It is important to establish a relationship first and then dive into more instruction and a tighter workout plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently on a coaching staff and that is my full time job. I come from a family of basketball: Father and Aunt played in college and Grandfather was a head varsity basketball coach for 25 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I charge $60 per session. Sessions can be offered in a private gym, public park or anywhere else that is preferred.
If I cannot offer the gym on a certain day we can adjust pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started on the coaching staff for my job while I was in graduate school in 2019. I am now out of school and remained on the same staff since then
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages at some point. For work, I work with young men primarily aged from 18-23.
Previously I have worked youth basketball camps with kids aged between 5-13
